Is there such thing as a all knowing “God” that set us on our predetermined path? Are we in control of our lives? Are just following a path that someone laid out for us? The true question is, do we have free will?
There are those who believe in this higher being who put us on this earth, who controls our path that if supposedly if you believe hard enough you will find it. Well hey you just found your greatest kids book, a friendly ghost that point people in the right direction if they believe him. You can argue all you want, but that’s not life. You can argue you have proof, just read your book and you’ll find your answers. That’s what con men say, “Hey just invest your money into my company and it’ll double in days!.
That’s not reality no book has the magic answers, there’s no sorting hat from harry potter separating us into our future career. Life is brutal, it’s not easy to say but nothing can be handed to us unless you get lucky. Life is like a poker game, lets say Texas hold’em. You have these two cards that represent you, then you start to lay out the flop and three cards layout in front of you. You try to make what you can of it, if it doesn’t work out those three cards you can hold out for the next one, or you can fold. You then take your cards and decide to hold on a little longer, So the next card comes out and it gives you a little chance or hope, to were all you need is that one card for you to win. You hold out for that last card, and when it turns you can be happy you just won that hand, or now you’re angry you just wasted your money for that slim chance, and you have almost chips left. We are dealt these cards everyday. We choose how we follow through with the cards. You take the chance and you either just did something fantastic, or wow you are a moron what were you thinking.
Life isn’t as simple as hey read my book about this thing you can’t: See, Hear, Smell, Touch, or Taste. Wow we have five senses that we use to figure out if something is real or what something is, but we can’t do any of that with this belief. It’s a belief that people use because they are scared to admit, that you are doing all this not someone or something else. We are not destined for greatness we make our self great. We are not destined for anything, we are capable of almost anything it all just depends on how much work you put towards it. We could all bite our thumbs and hope and pray something happens, but no one is gonna happen you are wasting your time.
We all have our strengths. Some are hey I’m super attractive, and if that is you then you’ll be a model and you’ll be set until your looks go a way. Hey I’m a genius, then go do something with it, something useful and don’t squander it. That’s just some examples, there are tons of strengths people have. You can’t just wait for something to happen for you, you have to go make it for yourself. Life will kick your tail, it’ll through you around and kick you when you are down. That just doesn’t mean you don’t try to make those opportunities happen. Yeah they’re gonna blow up in your face sometimes, but you can say you tried, then get back up and try again. We are not guaranteed anything, we have to fight for everything we get.
Every man gets this equal chance for education it’s up to you to make what you can of it. Here in America, we have the equal chance all the way up until we finish high school. After that it’s survival of the fittest and if you have a problem then you better suck it up. Honestly this generation of teenagers are the worst of any other generation. They always want everything handed to them, they never make anything happen. Or they think everything is funny, even when it’s serious issue. Just take a look at our president. So you may say but they are more understanding, but no they are not. We have all this technology at our finger tips. You think all these great things are about to happen, but no they use if for our useless things, like hey lets make a phone watch, or a poke ball for an app game.
No more ranting about them, but it’s time to let this destiny thing go. It’s time to take the bull by the horns and make life yours and take full advantage of life.
